SPRINGFIELD, IL –State Senator Matt Murphy (R-Palatine) has been appointed to serve as the Republican Spokesperson on the Commerce and Economic Development by Republican Leader Frank Watson (R-Greenville). 
 

SPRINGFIELD – Saving Illinois taxpayers money by giving public employees more control and responsibility over their pension plans is the aim of reform legislation introduced today by State Senators Matt Murphy (R-Palatine), Bill Brady (R-Bloomington), and Dan Cronin (R-Elmhurst).

“We need to tell the truth about where we are at fiscally, and work to implement policies that reflect that reality” explained Murphy. “By doing this, we will regain the credibility of the people of this state.”
