Following the tragic loss of the Women in Need Growing Stronger (WINGS) resale shop in Palatine, my office is assisting in the efforts to restock and open a new location. 

A fire was started by the June 18 storms that passed through suburban Cook County and as a result the WINGS resale shop was destroyed. I would ask area residents to consider giving a monetary or clothing article donation to the store as a way of helping the WINGS fund for programs and shelters.
